The Energy Conservation Ideas Fair
Energy Fest
An annual University of Michigan event, Energy Fest is all about environmental and energy initiatives throughout the University and the Ann Arbor community. Watch this webpage for news and information about the 15th Annual Energy Fest - scheduled to take place at the beginning of Fall Semester 2010! It’s an opportunity to learn about energy conservation, energy efficiency, and alternative energy technologies.
In September 2009, over 2000 students, faculty, staff, and neighbors came out to Energy Fest ’09, including the first-ever Green Lighting Day. Placed right in-between the traditional events of Diag-Tuesday and North Campus-Thursday, the new addition to Energy Fest, Green Lighting Day took place in the Chemistry Building and exhibited the latest and most-innovative commercial and residential lighting.
