Moving and Trucking is a full service moving organization providing customers with quality moving service. Whether it is going across the hall, down the street or across campus, Moving and Trucking has the experience and ability to get the job done and provide your department with cost-effective, efficient, worry-free service.

Their fleet consists of six 20' box trucks, two 16' stake trucks, a semi-tractor and trailer and a lowboy which is used to move big machinery and equipment from one location to another. Three fork-lifts are available to handle weights of 5000, 10,000 and 15,0000 pounds.

Moving and Trucking provides scaffold rental at $1.00 per section per day. They have 2000 chairs available at 30 cents per day for each chair. Plant Receiving is also managed by Moving and Trucking allowing them to further assist departments on campus with their ability to receive and provide temporarily storage for equipment, furniture, etc.

Outstanding Service Awards

In the past four years, Moving and Trucking has received over 40 Silver Arrow Awards through Plant Operations C.A.R.E. program for outstanding service from customers. Some of the customer comments include:

"...went above and beyond his duties....He worked very hard, was extremely courteous, performed tasks that were not on the work order. The team was timely and kept me abreast of how they were going to proceed with moving. The team worked hard and diligently are very deserving of recognition."

"...the two of them...were still performing the same great service...with a wonderful attitude and smile. You are very fortunate to have these two in your employ."

"...Not only was he extremely good in moving things to where we asked, but he also moved them again when we didn't like the way they looked. He did all this with extreme patience and care. He was back again the next day to make sure everything was still satisfactory. He is most friendly when you see him in another area. He is such a joy to work with."
